Fancy a night of laughs, drama, surprises and stories as you’ve never seen them told before? Then head to the FameLab Queensland semi-final on Tuesday 20 March at Queensland Museum!

FameLab aims to discover charismatic, up-and-coming scientists who inspire people to see the world from a new perspective – in just three minutes.

Queensland’s Science Communicator Jenni Metcalfe will MC the evening and introduce some of the country’s brightest minds to the stage as they tell their science stories in three minutes or less and explain why their work matters to the world. Watch as these 12 brilliant researchers deliver short sharp tales of their work in order to become the next FameLab champion.

Join them at this free event to hear scientific experts explain concepts like these in just three minutes in a fun and enlightening way!

Presentations will be judged by an esteemed panel of the Queensland Chief Scientist, and STEM public figures according to FameLab’s three Cs: content, clarity and charisma.

Please note: doors open at 6.00pm for a 6.30pm start. Tickets must be pre-booked in advance. Food and drink will not be available for purchase, please bring along a bottle of water for refreshment.
