Presented on the first Wednesday of each month at 2pm, Curator Conversation is a series of entertaining talks hosted by Queensland Museum Curator Jeff Powell.

Theme: Andrew Christy, Senior Curator (Mineralogy) from Queensland Museum will present: Meteorites - 4.5 billion years of impact.

The first solids in the Solar System were small particles which collided and merged to form larger objects: asteroids. Some grew to form the Earth and other planets; many more remained small. Leftover fragments from this time continue to hit the Earth to the present day as meteorites.

Bookings not required - just turn up.

Free with admission. Admission is free for residents of the Toowoomba Regional Council area.
