Cooly Rocks On 2017 - Poodle Parade

Coolangatta, Gold Coast Area

For five action-packed days between June 7 to 11, 2017, the border towns of Coolangatta and Tweed Heads will be fuelled with party atmosphere. Pre-1970 cars, nightly cruises, rock’n’roll and rockabilly music, buskers, dancing and family fun are all trademarks of this annual, much-loved festival, and let's not forget the poodles!

The Poodle Oodle Parade, one of the best-loved family events on the festival calendar, returns for its seventh year!

Poodles, schnoodles, foodles, moodles, labradoodles and cavoodles will hit the dogwalk for the Poodle Oodle Parade as they take the stage to perform tricks for Cooly Rocks on fans.

Many of the regular canine contestants have become natural paw-formers, enjoying the attention of the crowd. Now it’s time for the young pups to teach these old dogs some new tricks. Prizes will be awarded in a number of categories including ‘Waggiest Tail’, ‘Owner and Pooch Lookalike’ and ‘Best Rock’n’Roll Dog’.
