Australia Day Celebrations 2018

Caboolture, Moreton Bay Area

26 January 2019 -

Indicative Rate * AU$10 to AU$10

Their parade of the variety of vehicles you only normally see in books but these are working machines lovingly restored by their owners and the Village Restoration group. A first this year will be the axemen outside the Axeman’s Hall of Fame doing some demos plus allowing visitors to have a go at the crosscut saw.

Their famous re-enactments, not necessarily noted for their accuracy in historical facts but very much noted for the noise, smoke and entertainment. Bushrangers also prowl the site from their lair looking for the poor victims of their strange brand of humour. Always entertaining.

The Country Pub opens at 10am and with the help of Blarney Stone Irish Bush Band will keep hopping. A great group of entertainers, one of the Village favourites.

Australia Day at the Village offers you a day for the budget conscious where you can bring in a picnic lunch (sorry no alcohol can be brought in) and enjoy their surrounds or something for those who wish to try a little of everything. It is a great family day at a great family venue with minimal traffic hassles and lots of fun and action. Come along and see for yourself.
