Each Wednesday, Friday and Sunday night, treasure hunters, bargain spotters and after-dinner walkers make their way to the Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets to wander along the coastal stretch of more than 120 market stalls, while live entertainers set a casual mood in their performance.

One of the largest markets on the Gold Coast, the Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets feature a variety of premium products, including fashion, jewellery, accessories, artworks, photographs, beauty products and home wares.

If you're looking for an unusual gift or one-off piece, the Beachfront Markets are your one-stop-shop, with friendly stallholders always on hand to chat about the 'how', 'what' and 'why' of their wares.

Hoffman's Rocks Dive Site

Hoffman’s Rocks is a colourful underwater playground just south of Bargara in the Woongarra Marine Park. The area is covered in hard and soft corals including gorgonian sea fans and pretty soft corals, and home to resting turtles, stingrays, gropers and wobbegong sharks.

MV Karma Shipwreck

Bundaberg, Bundaberg Area
Christmas came early to divers in the Bundaberg area in December 2003, when a 42 metre long gravel barge sank off the coast north of the city. That ship was the MV Karma and today it rests in 26 metres of water and is one of the best wreck dives in Queensland.

South Kolan

South Kolan, Bundaberg Area
South Kolan is en route to Gin Gin and is home to the Mystery Craters just 20 minutes from the Bundaberg city center. There is a small community that reside there and school services for primary aged children.

Coonarr

Coonarr Beach is a 4.2 kilometre long, east facing beach that begins amongst the tidal shoals of the Elliott River mouth, then runs straight down to the smaller mouth of Coonarr Creek. There is a gravel road out to the small beachfront settlement of Coonarr, located toward the southern end of the beach.

Located on the waterfront at the gorgeous Burnett Heads, this beautiful park offers plenty of space to run and play. For the kids there is a large climbing frame and a smaller playground. Branyan

Branyan is a rural/residential district on the Bundaberg-Childers Road, seven kilometres south-west of central Bundaberg. It is also on the Burnett River, and has flat to undulating landscape. Branyan is well renowned by locals and visitors alike for it's Sandy Hook recreational precinct where the Australian Grand Prix speedboats converge annually in November and where locals and visitors alike participate in a variety of watersports on the river.

The ocean is visible to the east while, to the west, the sugar fields can be seen encircling the city with the smoke stacks of the Bundaberg Distillery and Mill on the horizon.
