The Pitstop Lodge Bed and Breakfast and Guesthouse is a home away from home. Pitstop Lodge is a self contained old Queensland home with a comfortable, homely atmosphere, at a reasonable price.

Up to 12 people can be accommodated in the house, which makes it ideal for groups as well as couples and singles. Pitstop Lodge B&B has three queen sized bedrooms, and a dormitory style area with six single beds. All linen is supplied. There are 2 bathrooms with fans and heaters. Plenty of off street and undercover parking. There is also a self-contained adjoining cottage which has a double bedroom, sofa bed and a single bed if required and a bathroom and toilet.

Pitstop Lodge is ideally situated within walking distance of Warwick city centre, restaurants and clubs. There are plenty of restaurants to try including Italian, Indian, Thai and Chinese, or a fantastic country steak at one of the many pubs in town.

A large rear deck provides a pleasant area where guests can relax after a busy day and watch the sunset over a quiet drink and cook a barbecue.

Pitstop Lodge can be booked as a whole house or as individual bookings.

Cottage

Pitstop Lodge Cottage is a self-contained cosy cottage. It has double bedroom with ensuite bathroom, lounge/dining room with television, kitchenette with fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle, reverse cycle air conditioning for year-round comfort. There is also a double sofa bed for extra guests. Great for a couple looking for privacy or a small family. The Pitstop Lodge cottage opens onto the large back deck and guests are welcome to use barbecue facilities supplied on the deck.

Queen Rooms

Pitstop Lodge Bed and Breakfast Queen rooms are large and each have a little sitting area with old style wooden wardrobes. Rooms have reverse cycle air conditioning for year-round comfort. All linen supplied. Continental breakfast included and cooked breakfast is available on request at AUD15 per person.

Fully operational kitchen if you wish to prepare meals yourself, as well as tea and coffee. There is a large undercover deck at the rear of the house with barbecue. In winter you can be cosy in the heated lounge-room, or snuggle-up under the woollen doonas. The huge backyard has plenty of room for your cars.

There are three rooms available.

Whole House for up to 12 persons

Pitstop Lodge has three queen size bedrooms, one of which has an extra single bed, and five single beds in dormitory style. There is a lounge room with a gas log fire, kitchen / dining room and a large rear deck for happy hour. Air conditioned.

The whole house can be booked for up to 12 persons. This can be for three couples and six singles, or nine singles. Longer durations price by negotiation.

Self-contained facilities. All linen supplied. One night bookings allowed.

Single Bed - Dormitory Style Accommodation

This room is available for those on a budget, or children as part of a family group. Great for motor cycle or motor race groups. Wedding or other special family gatherings. Very reasonable rates, shared facilities and sure beats camping. Reverse cycle air conditioning for year round comfort.

MV Karma Shipwreck

Christmas came early to divers in the Bundaberg area in December 2003, when a 42 metre long gravel barge sank off the coast north of the city. That ship was the MV Karma and today it rests in 26 metres of water and is one of the best wreck dives in Queensland.

The Burrum Coast National Park which also incorporates both Woodgate and Burrum River sections is part of the Great Sandy Region, of which Fraser Island is best known.

Elliott Heads Beach

Burnett Heads

Burnett Heads is nestled along the Coral Coast and is most readily identifiable by the two historic lighthouses that dot its coastline. Oaks Beach is a 200 metre long stretch of beach safe for surfing and swimming with many choosing to fish off the rocks and groyne at The Oaks which are the best places to reach deep water.
