Spacious self contained, air-conditioned apartments designed for long term stays include resort style timber furniture. One and two bedroom apartments are ideal for family getaway. Inground fresh water pool and barbecue areas are provided for the outdoor holiday experience. Guided barramundi fishing packages are available. They have undercover parking, boat and bus parking area and fish filleting table.

If travelling by road, it is bitumen all the way; a smooth and relaxing drive for all.

Two bedroom apartment consists of a queen bed in one bedroom and two single beds in second bedroom. Fully self-contained, air-conditioned with separate kitchen, lounge and bathroom.

Fully self-contained one bedroom apartment with queen size bed. All units are air-conditioned and comfortably furnished in stylish timber resort style furniture.

Executive Suites feature open plan, fully self-contained, air-conditioned units with a king size bed and one single bed. They feature beach front, spacious units opening onto a grassed outdoor area overlooking the mouth of the Norman River and the Gulf of Carpentaria; only a few steps down onto the beach.

Beach front two bedroom apartment overlooks the Gulf of Carpentaria. Fully self-contained, air-conditioned furnished with resort style timber furniture. Bedroom one consists of queens size bed with second bedroom consisting of two single beds.

The fully self-contained studio units are air-conditioned and furnished with your comfort in mind. Queen or twin singles with ample room for long term stay. Undercover car parking directly in front of apartment.

Moreton Bay is home to approximately 600 bottlenose dolphins and each evening as the sun begins to set across the water, a small pod makes their way to the shores of Tangalooma Island Resort. Located on the exposed eastern side of Brisbane’s Moreton Island, China Wall is an unusual dive site for the area as the reef is dominated by kelp rather than coral. Waving beds of brown kelp are more common in southern Australia and these ones look very out of place with tropical fish swimming around them.

Hutchinson Shoal Dive Site

Hutchinson Shoal is the largest reef system off Brisbane and also one of the least dived. Located north of Moreton Island, Hutchinson Shoal is washed by strong currents and offers no protection in rough weather.

Moreton Island is the most natural of the large sand islands located in Moreton Bay's sheltered waters. At 285 metres high, Mount Tempest is the highest stabilised sand dune in the world. The walk to the top of Mount Tempest is a memorable one, with sweeping views of Moreton Bay and the island's length a spectacular experience.

Marietta Dal Shipwreck Dive Site

The Marietta Dal was a 7500 tonne liberty ship built in the USA in 1944 and is one of the most interesting shipwrecks off Brisbane. On May 15 1950, the 140 metre long ship was carrying a cargo of sulphur, oil, tractors and other general cargo when it ran aground on Smith Rock.
