Highlands - Deluxe King Suite

This suite has expansive views of the Glasshouse Mountains, with a king-sized bed that can be arranged as twin singles if necessary. It has a large ensuite bathroom with spa, separate shower, toilet and bidet. Your private table and chairs are provided on the deck. Television and DVD player, a fridge with tea and coffee making facilities are provided, as well as luxurious bathrobes and towels. Port and chocolates are provided for your indulgence.

Room rates shown are mid-week rates, and include their scrumptious breakfast. Weekend rates are slightly higher and a minimum night stay usually applies.

Borders - Queen with Ensuite

Queen suite with views over the front garden. The room and its ensuite have been designed for comfort. Its amenities are also wheelchair accessible.

Speyside - Deluxe Queen With Ensuite

This suite has superb views of the Glasshouse Mountains. Wake to the morning view from the luxurious queen sized bed! The ensuite has a shower, toilet and hand basin. An outdoor table with chairs is situated on the deck.

Islands - Deluxe King Suite

King Deluxe suite has a king sized bed which can be converted to twin singles if preferred. This spacious suite enjoys Glasshouse Mountain views. The beautifully appointed ensuite has a spa and separate shower. Your own table and chairs are provided on the deck.

Yowah

Yowah, Paroo Area
Yowah is ‘The Friendly Opal Field’ 165 kilometres west of Cunnamulla. It is the home of the Yowah Opal Nut and the Ironstone Matrix Opal, an opal type to be found only in this part of Queensland. Opal was first discovered here towards the end of the 19th century and production still continues.

Hell Hole Gorge is part of the Powell plateau which forms part of the Grey Range. The deeply incised Powell Creek with steep, dissected escarpments and vertical cliffs up to 45 metres high drains through the centre of the area along with the smaller Spencers and Gorge Creek.

The Bulloo River flows through the town of Thargomindah and there are several different fishing holes along the river. There is vehicle access from the bridge, follow the walking tracks along the river.

Bollon

The soil gets redder as you approach Bollon - a great little western town sitting on the banks of the peaceful Wallam Creek. The free caravan and camping area complete with toilets and showers is the perfect spot to rest up for a few days.

Toompine

Toompine known as "The pub without a town". Cobb and Co. once serviced this town with it's regular coach schedule. All that remains today from those early pioneering days is the South Western Hotel (circa 1893), and a population of two.
