Superior Queen Room

Their Superior Queen Rooms have one queen bed with an occupancy maximum of two adults. There is an updated bathroom, mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, air conditioner with heating and flat screen television. Hair dryers are available at reception upon request. Motel guests enjoy free wi-fi and have access to the Motel pool and laundry facilities. They have limited on-site free parking.

Twin Room

Their Twin rooms are their entry level rooms that have a double bed and a single bed. Maximum adult capacity is three. The room has a mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, air conditioner with heating and a flat screen television. Guests have access to free wi-fi as well as their in-ground pool and laundry facilities.

Superior 1 Bedroom Apartment

Their Superior one bedroom apartment has recently been renovated and has a king bed in the bedroom and a single bed in a nook in the living room. The apartment has a flat screen television in the bedroom as well as the living room. The kitchen has a full fridge, microwave, stove top, toaster and all the utensils needed to cook a meal. There is dining room table and large comfortable couch to relax in the living room. All guests have access to free wi-fi, the in-ground pool and laundry facilities.

2 Bedroom Apartment

Their two bedroom apartment is very spacious and located on the ground floor in front of the pool. The master bedroom has a queen bed and ensuite and the second bedroom also has an ensuite and two single beds. The kitchen has a full fridge, microwave, stove top, toaster and all the utensils needed to cook a meal. There is a six person dining room table and a large comfortable couch in the open plan living room and lounge room. All guests have access to free wi-fi, the in-ground pool and laundry facilities.

Wongabel State Forest

This state forest protects a remnant of an endangered type of forest, known as mabi forest. Here, in 1903, red cedar seedlings were planted in the forest to replace mature trees which had been logged. Commercial plantations of hoop, kauri and Caribbean pine now grow beside native forest.

Specimen Hill Lookout

Mt Hypipamee Crater and Dinner Falls

The Hypipamee crater is referred to as a volcanic pipe. The pipe was opened upward through surface rocks by gas produced from molten rock below and as a result of tremendous pressure, the vent exploded sending volcanic bombs far across the landscape.
