Nestled on 50 acres and between magnificent mountain ranges in Mary Valley Country, the property offers two styles of accommodation for singles, couples and small groups; traditional Bed and Breakfast in the Lodge or self-contained apartments with continental breakfast.

Amamoor Lodge is conveniently located close to the historic gold town of Gympie, with Noosa just a short drive away and Brisbane less than two hours to the south. Whilst here you can enjoy the many attractions in the Mary Valley. Adventure to the State Forest parks where you can trail ride horse, walk and see the beautiful creeks or look for the platypus at play.

On the property you can swim in the lagoon style pool and relax in the spa. Discover the true Aussie bush by taking a stroll to the waterhole and through the rain forest. Keep an eye out for wallabies, koalas, echidnas, possums and the many varieties of native birdlife. After dark, wonder at the stars in the clear night skies.

The property is not suitable for children under 16.

Amamoor Lodge is a registered 'Land for Wildlife' property.

Our Rooms

Studio Bed & Breakfast

For those who need their own space and comforts, Amamoor Lodge Studios are a sanctuary to escape to, a place to catch up with family and friends, or a hub for weekend adventures.

Catering for both corporate and leisure travellers, our studio are spacious, comfortable and quiet. Guests can relax in beautifully appointed studios with either king bed or twin singles.

Each studio has its own ensuite, kitchenette and outdoor area. Linen, towels and kitchen equipment are provided and gas BBQ’s are available for guest use.

Continental or hot breakfast is included. You can also request dinner. At least 24 hours notice required. All meals are served to your room.

Grevillea Room

The Grevillea room is designed for people with limited mobility and has wheelchair access. It is also suitable for able-bodied guests.

The room has two sets of French doors opening on to wide verandahs overlooking the pool. It sleeps one couple in a queen bed and has an extra single bed. The spacious ensuite bathroom has grab rails.

Bed and Breakfast in the Lodge is an indulgent stay with afternoon tea on arrival and includes a full breakfast including cereals, breads, local jams & honey, fresh fruit and yoghurt as well as a scrumptious cooked dish.

Dinner is available on request and can be served in the dining room, on the verandah or to the room.

Callistemon & Banksia Rooms

Bed and Breakfast in the Lodge is an indulgent stay with afternoon tea on arrival and includes a full breakfast including cereals, breads, local jams & honey, fresh fruit and yoghurt as well as a scrumptious cooked dish.

These two rooms are converted workmen’s living quarters, built in the 1930s. The wall timbers were milled on the property. Traditional in design but with modern comforts each room sleeps two people comfortably in a queen size bed, has a private en-suite bathroom, reverse cycle air-conditioning, fan, fridge, TV, tea and coffee making facilities and robes.

Greenmount is a lovely country township surrounded by dairy farms, horse studs and various crops. Formally known as Emu Creek, Greenmount is an easy 25 kilometre drive from Toowoomba, on the outskirts of the Darling Downs.

Vale View is a quiet rural spot, located just south of Toowoomba and is home to Federation Park. Federation Park is a lovely spot for a picnic or a short walk. Vale View is accessed from Toowoomba via Drayton Road and is located near Cambooya.

Hodgson Vale is a small rural community 12 kilometres south of Toowoomba. Popular with mountain bikers and road cyclists there are a mix of bike trails and road cycling available in the area. Make sure you pay a visit to Lions Park in Hodgson Vale, a large park located on the New England Highway.

If you think of the quintessential country town streetscape you've got Clifton in mind. Dating back to 1875, this classic little town 45 minutes' drive south of Toowoomba (about half way to Warwick) has been used in a number of Australian movies including 'The Thornbirds'.
