Self Contained Studio

Airlie Beach Motor Lodge's spacious Self Contained Studios are ideal for long stay holidays and feature balconies with bay and mountain views. The rooms have ample built in cupboards with a queen bed, single bed and sofa bed, as well as a kitchenette with basic cooking facilities including a microwave, compact disc/DVD players, clock radio, air conditioner, ceiling fan and hairdryer.

Two Bedroom Townhouse

Airlie Beach Motor Lodge's self contained Two Bedroom Townhouses are ideal for two couples or families. Upstairs, the bedrooms are separated by a bathroom and toilet. There is a queen size bed in one bedroom and a queen and single bed in the other room. There is a small balcony with some bay and mountain views.

Downstairs is another toilet and large open planned living area with sofa bed and television with DVD player in the lounge area. The spacious well equipped kitchen with combined microwave, grill and oven, as well as a ceramic cooktop and large fridge/freezer, makes it perfect to for in-house catering. You can entertain around the dining table or outside on the outdoor setting if you prefer to enjoy the great outdoors.

Amid tranquil bushland and diverse farmlands, the historic town of Murgon, settled in 1846, offers a relaxed pace and offers the perfect base to discover the Barambah Wine Trail. The trail takes in the nearby winery area of Moffatdale where you'll find the largest vineyard in Queensland and five vineyards and cellar doors within a 15 kilometre radius of Murgon.

Benarkin

Benarkin is a small timber town located off the D'Aguilar Highway, just shy of three and a half kilometres from Blackbutt. Benarkin has a general store and a population of around 200 residents (the rest area at First Settlers Park is a popular overnight stop for travellers).

Blackbutt

Blackbutt is an attractive small town surrounded by native forests. Situated on the D'Aguilar Highway, at the southern entrance to the South Burnett. 'Blackbutt' is the common name for the Eucalyptus Piluralis tree, native to the area.

Kaimkillenbun

The little town of Kaimkillenbun, has the longest single place name in Queensland and is known to the locals simply as 'The Bun'. Kaimkillenbun's closest major town is Dalby (24 kilometres to the south west) and it is a great place to stop in when driving to the Bunya Mountains.

Located north of Toowoomba on the New England Highway, Cooyar is a tranquil country village. The wide verandahs of Cooyar Hotel are a friendly spot for a drink and the low-down on what to see and do around the town.
