There are few prettier places to break your journey on the Bruce Highway than the country town of Gin Gin. Easy caravan parking in the wide main street allows access to the shady picnic tables, barbecues and toilets that are set amongst well-tended gardens. Cafes, hotels and bakeries are all close by.

This journey ventures around the the Gin Gin- Mount Perry area exploring Goodnight Scrub National Park, Boolboonda Tunnel, Lake Monduran and the Mystery Craters Nature Nurture Centre.

Route 1 - Lake, Weir and Craters

Route 1 takes you up to Fred Haigh Dam and Lake Monduran through the ranges to around to Bucca, South Kolan before meeting up on the main road near the Mystery Craters before heading back to Gin Gin.

Route 2 departs Gin Gin for the town of Mount Perry passing Boolboonda Tunnel and Wonbah Winery. South to Mingo Crossing before heading east to Goodnight Scrub National Park and Paradise Dam. The vast ranges shows a great contrast between rural and dense bush land.
