The southernmost charging station on the QESH allows motorists to recharge after visiting the Gold Coast airport or enjoying the local natural beauty of Coolangatta's beaches.

The international Gold Coast Airport is the sixth busiest airport in Australia! Use this EV charging site to recharge while waiting to pick up your domestic or international visitors. There are several local shops and cafes located nearby and it’s also within walking distance of Coolangatta's beautiful beaches, providing a chance to visit these natural wonders while recharging your EV using renewable-credited electricity.

From Brisbane you can travel north, west or south using the QESH! Enjoy the local cafes while you charge your vehicle, then take a CityCat to explore the best of what Brisbane has to offer. Alternatively, visit the famous Eat Street Markets, just a short walk away from this fast-charging site at Northshore Hamilton!

Start your journey west or take a day trip to Springfield, a family-friendly smart city with a modern shopping centre and lots of child-friendly activities, including a waterpark! Springfield is Australia’s largest master planned community, with a sustainability focus ensuring one third of Greater Springfield is dedicated to green space and recreational areas.

Recharge on the western route of the QESH at The University of Queensland's campus, in the lively regional community of Gatton. Take a break and explore the exquisite surrounds of Lake Apex and the Lockyer National Park and enjoy activities such as bushwalking, bird-watching and fishing, surrounded by Gatton's idyllic landscapes.

Explore South East Queensland's scenic west and charge your EV while walking through the many national parks and recreation areas Toowoomba has to offer. Alternatively, make a day trip to the 'Garden City' for the famous annual Carnival of Flowers or to visit the Cobb & Co. Museum, home of the National Carriage Collection and full of hands-on workshops and kids activities!

Begin your trip north or take a day trip to the famous Sunshine Coast. Cooroy is surrounded by shops and cafes to take a break while you recharge your EV. From here, continue up Queensland's coast or visit Noosa's world-renowned beaches, luxury shops and outstanding restaurants, only 20 kilometres away!

While you recharge in Maryborough, relax in the botanical gardens of Queens Park, with scenic river views just a 600 metre walk from the charging station. Alternatively, visit one of nearby shops, museums or cafes. Once recharged, enjoy a detour to visit Hervey Bay's panoramic beaches, catch a whale-watching tour and take in the easy-going atmosphere.

Next stop on the QESH is Childers and an inviting opportunity to stop, revive, survive! This quaint Queensland town has shops and restaurants just 300 metres from the charging station. Stay longer and visit The Flying High Bird Sanctuary at Apple Tree Creek, with Australian favourites including the Cassowary and Tasmanian Devil, or visit Snakes Downunder Reptile Park.  For the adults, enjoy a picnic at Hill of Promise Estate Winery, a boutique business located just five minutes away!

About 475 kilometres north of Brisbane is the township of Miriam Vale, home to approximately 600 people and the next stop on the QESH! Savour the atmosphere in a local pub or café, or enjoy the good fishing and national parks. For a worthwhile detour, the coastal towns of Agnes Waters and Seventeen Seventy are less than an hour from this route.

The next stop on the QESH is the Beef Capital of Australia, boasting six bull statues and the weekly local rodeo at the Great Western Hotel! Stop, Revive and Survive at one of the nearby cafes and shops, or relax with a picnic at one of the parks by the Fitzroy River.  For a longer stay, nature lovers can enjoy Mount Archer National Park with spectacular views of Rockhampton and a wide range of native flora.

Enjoying the road trip so far? Remember to Stop, Revive and Survive at this scenic rest stop in Marlborough and enjoy the fresh country air whilst recharging your EV using renewable-credited electricity. Stop by the Marlborough Museum, started by local resident Martin Hennessy in the 1980s, for local historical memorabilia and displays of the semi-precious gem Chryoprase. Marlborough Chryoprase is credited as the world's finest, desired by jewellery designers around the globe.

A blissful blend of country and beach, Carmila is the next alluring stop on the Queensland Electric Super Highway network. The peaceful town offers all the necessities for a quick stop or opt to stay a while and enjoy Carmila Beach, just a short six-minute drive from the EV charging station.

This is a nature extravaganza - Mackay is definitely worth the trip! Explore Eungella National Park and maybe see a platypus or two, enjoy the southern Whitsundays islands or the golden beaches of the Hibiscus Coast. The QESH enables you to visit Queensland's natural wonders such as these in an EV!

On your way to Bowen from Mackay take a moment to explore the scenic Whitsundays using the QESH stations to travel in a quiet, renewable energy powered electric vehicle. Bowen offers its own recognisable attractions, such as the Big Mango and award-winning Horseshoe Bay, with snorkelling opportunities just metres from the shore!

With 320 days of sunshine each year, it’s likely you’ll have a good time in Townsville! The town hosts food, shopping and entertainment precincts to enjoy. Venture further and be amazed by the natural beauty of Magnetic Island or the allure of Wallaman Falls. EVs produce no tailpipe emissions, ensuring you leave only footprints at these environmental wonders.

The charging station in Tully is surrounded with plenty of shops and restaurants to visit while you charge. If you are up for more of an adventure, Tully is home to some of the best white water-rafting rapids in Australia! This is due to Tully's significant annual rainfall - the home of the Golden Gumboot!

From Tully, make your way to tropical Cairns – the northernmost EV charging station on the QESH. Nestled between the extraordinary Great Barrier Reef and the world-heritage Daintree Rainforest, Cairns offers visitors a gateway to these internationally recognised natural wonders. When travelling here using the QESH, you can rest assured that you are travelling using renewable energy and helping to preserve these natural assets.
