Bribie's Moreton Bay Jetski Hire and Ride

Multiple Locations

Situated on the entrance to Bribie Island, Bribie's Moreton Bay Jetski Hire and Ride provides fully guided jetski rides at the southern end of Pumicestone Passage in the Moreton Bay Marine Reserve. It operates in tandem with its sister company, Caloundra Jetski which has a well established reputation for excellence.

Bribie's Moreton Bay Jetski operates a maximum of three jetskis on each tour to ensure personalised service and an opportunity to mix an eco adventure with the thrill of riding a clean, green fun machine. The most popular trip - the 90 minute Flinders on Ski - tracks the epic adventure of explorer Mathew Flinders, who explored Moreton Bay, Pumicestone Passage and the Glasshouse Mountains in 1799. Keep an eye out for the turtles, dolphins and dugongs. A gentler ride is the 60 minute Up the Creek - perfect for families with younger kids.

Flinders on a Ski

Tracing the path of Mathew Flinders in 1799. Leaving the marina, you'll head up Pumicestone Passage for White Patch, getting to know your skis along the way, before heading west to Elimbah Creek and behind Little Goat Island ... a narrow little passage near the forgotten seaside town of Donnybrook.

Keep an eye out for dolphins, dugongs and turtles, before you start to explore the agility of your machines, as you race back towards Bribie Island, under the bridge and out into the ocean to take a peek at Skirmish Point - the site of Flinders run in with the local Aboriginal tribe. The trip is a lot faster than Flinders' trip a couple of hundred years ago with plenty of action and a variety of different water - from the smooth going in Pumicestone Passage to the hot laps in the open waters off Skirmish Point.

Up the Creek

A gentler ride where the speed and intensity of the trip can be adjusted upwards and downwards depending on the riders' appetite for adrenalin. It's a perfect all weather route, sheltering from the breeze in Ningi Creek. It's an opportunity to explore mangroves of Pumicestone Passage and the Moreton Bay Marine Reserves.

The water in the creek is always smooth, giving riders a chance to soak up the atmosphere of being up close and personal with the foundation stone of the marine park eco system. When you leave the creek, you'll reach for the throttle and head north along Pumicestone Passage to find space for a few hot laps. Plenty of picture opportunities on this picturesque route.
