Kangourous

Les kangourous sont l’un des atouts indiscutés de l’Australie et le Queensland est généreusement servi en créatures sautillantes.

Vous pouvez observer des kangourous et wallabies dans la nature à de nombreux endroits (parfois même sur les parcours de golf). Voici quelques-uns des plus célèbres :

  • Joignez-vous aux kangourous du coin pour contempler le lever ou le coucher de soleil à Cape Hillsborough près de Mackay.
  • Prenez le ferry pour Magnetic Island près de Townsville pour voir les adorables wallabies des rochers.
  • Soyez alerte et prompt à actionner votre appareil photo dans la forêt humide de Daintree dans le nord tropical du Queensland, car si vous avez la chance d’apercevoir un kangourou arboricole de Bennett ou de Lumholtz, espèces très rares, il vous faudra en rapporter la preuve !
  • L’outback du Queensland est un véritable zoo sans cages. A l’aube et à l’aurore, ouvrez l’œil et vous verrez peut-être un kangourou roux.
  • Pour prendre votre « selfie » avec kangourou pour Facebook, rendez-vous dans l’un des zoos ou sanctuaires de la vie sauvage du Queensland pour voir l’un de nos fameux « roos ». Ils adorent prendre la pose !
