  • Pour une rencontre naturelle d'un genre différent, visitez une ferme de crocodiles. Emmenez en guise de souvenir une photo de vous tenant un bébé crocodile dans vos bras et dégustez des plats uniques tels qu’une tourte aux crocodiles.
  • Vous aimez les pierres précieuses ? Parcourez les boutiques à Rubyvale, Sapphire et Anakie ou partez vous-même traquer les pierres précieuses dans les champs aurifères de Willows.
  • Mettez cap vers l'intérieur du pays, en direction du lac Maraboon, et jetez-y votre ligne - ce lac abrite les plus grandes prises d'Australie, telles que les morues d'eau douce, les perches dorées et les barramundis.

Shelving Beach Dive Site

The Keppels,
The Keppel Islands off Yeppoon are a great place for divers to explore, but this area also has some wonderful snorkelling sites, with one of the most popular being Shelving Beach. Located at the south west corner of Great Keppel Island, Shelving Beach can be a little difficult to reach without a boat, but many visitors walk the bush track to explore this secluded spot.
