Co-curated with the National Gallery Singapore, this vibrant exhibition surveys the work of leading contemporary Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. A wild and wonderful journey through significant moments in Kusama’s career, the exhibition explores over seven decades of the artist’s practice through more than 70 works.

'Life is the Heart of a Rainbow' explores the key motifs of Kusama’s work her engagement with the body and her expansive conception of space — and includes early painterly experiments, the celebrated ‘net’ paintings, soft-sculptures and assemblages, the iconic 'infinity rooms' and several late-career large-scale installations. The exhibition culminates in a presentation of Kusama's most recent paintings from the visually arresting series 'My Eternal Soul' 2009 – ongoing.
