Waste Not Want Not: Creating a Circular Economy

South Brisbane, Brisbane Area

23 March 2018 -

Indicative Rate * AU$10 to AU$30

Imagine a society devoid of detritus.

As the world becomes increasingly urbanised, how do we also become sufficiently sanitised? Imagine a world where rubbish, in all its forms, becomes intrinsic to the cycles of human existence, rather than a by-product.

For this to happen, waste worldwide needs to be re-used, recycled and reformed… but most importantly, it needs to be valued within our modern world.

Their expert panel in all things discarded will share innovative ways to reimagine and repurpose waste, and examine whether science and technology can work their magic in time to save humanity from drowning in its own detritus.

For school years 9 to 12.
