Cycling Australia in partnership with the Queensland Government via Tourism and Events Queensland and Brisbane City Council via Brisbane Marketing is excited to announce the world-class Anna Meares Velodrome will be hosting round five of the 2019 Tissot UCI Track Cycling World Cup Series from December 13 to 15.
This Tissot Track World Cup is the first major UCI world track cycling event hosted by Australia since the UCI Tissot Track Cycling World Championships in Melbourne in 2012. The Anna Meares Velodrome is a world class facility built to host the track events during the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.
The 2019/2020 UCI Tissot Track Cycling World Cups will form part of the qualifying campaign for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
