Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts is an intimate arts venue dedicated to creating innovative experiences that connect with adventurous people. The result is a year-round programme that features a melange of international, national and local talent across theatre, music, dance, fashion, circus and visual arts.

Situated in the heart of Fortitude Valley, Judith Wright Centre encapsulates the modernity, grunge and vibrancy of Valley life and beyond. The Centre features a 300-seat performance space, modern art gallery, purpose built administration and storage facilities, as well as workshop and theatre rehearsal rooms.

The Centre was named after the great poet and activist Judith Wright.

Roma's largest bottle tree, which has the incredible girth of 9.51 metres, a height of six metres and a crown of 20 metres, was transplanted by Roma Town Council to its present location from a local property in 1927.
