This is the perfect place to base yourself as you explore all that south-east Queensland has to offer. The Turner family has owned the caravan park since 1974 and they’re proud to say that they’re still owned and operating in the same way – three generations along! With the assistance of a small and very capable team, the park is able to exist in the homely way that it is and they look forward to welcoming you on your future stay with them.

Our rooms

Tourist Cabin

All you need to do is bring yourself and your luggage if you’re staying in one of their fully self-contained cabins. The cabins contain a kitchenette (microwave, stove, fridge, kettle, as well as cooking utensils, pots and pans). All your appliances and linen (including blankets) are provided as well as further appliances available at the office upon request (hair dryers and more).

Caravan Site

Those travelling in their own caravans have an array of different sites available to them. To cater to specific needs, they have sites to accommodate the smallest and largest of vans and buses. There are grass and concrete slab sites available depending on the size of the van. They also have two drive-thru sites, but get in quick as these are a favourite of new caravanners due to their ease and accessibility! If you need a hand backing on to your site, their helpful and experienced workers are more than happy to help guide you on! Just let them know at the time of booking.

Tent Site

Their unpowered tent sites suit fully self-sufficient travellers. Enjoy the luscious green grass as you kick it old school in your own tented accommodation. Their tent sites accommodate small one man tents up to large full sized multi-room family tents and everything in between. Tent sites are ideal spots for those travelling in small camper vans and cars.

The man-made waterway of Lake Kawana has become popular with a number of sports including kayaking, canoeing, outrigging, dragon boat racing and motorised boats.

Mooloolah

Mooloolah is located off the Steve Irwin Way (formerly Glass House Mountains Tourist Drive) via Mooloolah Connection Road with neighbouring communities of Glenview and Palmview being located just off the M1.

Sippy Downs

Bordered on one side by the beautiful Mooloolah River National Park, and on the other by the Maroochy Bushland Botanic Gardens, Sippy Downs on the Sunshine Coast is best known for the system of picture-postcard lakes that pepper the area.

Landsborough

Landsborough, gateway to the Blackall Range and to the Mary Valley, is one of the historic townships of the Sunshine Coast. From 1868, it grew behind the wheels of Cobb and Co. coaches as they followed the tree line blazed by Tom Petrie to Gympie gold, discovered by James Nash in 1867.

Currimundi

Currimundi is located on the northern boundary of the Caloundra area of the Sunshine Coast. It was named by Sir Leslie Wilson, using the local aboriginal name for the area, Garrimundi or Girrimundi, meaning 'Place of flying foxes'.
