Mother of Ducks Cottage

Mother of Ducks Cottage is a 100 year old traditional Queenslander located right on the lake. The house, whilst cooled by breezes over the lake also has ceiling fans in all rooms. It has two bedrooms which can sleep between two and six guests - one with a queen sized four poster bed and one with two single beds and a trundle with all linen supplied. The cottage is spacious, decorated in a bright shabby chic manner with a gallery of original paintings. There are wrap around wide verandas and comfortable cane furniture overlooking the lake. There is a fully self-contained kitchen with gas stove/oven, electric frypan, toaster, refrigerator, cutlery and crockery and cooking equipment. There is an adjacent outdoor kitchen pavilion with gas barbecue and a campfire by the lake.

The Boathouse

The Boathouse is a rural contemporary vernacular architecture replete with nautical design themes, with upper and lower decks overhanging the lake. The northern doors/walls fold back entirely to allow uninterrupted access to lake views. This cottage is wonderfully romantic and has a queen sized bed with muslin canopies with a double futon in the loft. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas cooktops, electric oven, a microwave and health grill. There is a barbecue on the deck as well as a camp fire by the lake.
