Step out the front door and you are just 30 seconds away from beautiful Kelly’s Beach. Turn the other way and you’re faced with Bargara championship 18 hole golf course. Kelly’s Beach offers protected waters where the whole family can swim in safety, as well as an open surf beach just 500 metres south of their Resort. Bargara Blue is in the perfect location to access the Southern Great Barrier Reef.

Bargara Blue is just a short walk from fine restaurants and cafes. Unwind while lazing around the heated pool (not heated in summer) or work out in the gymnasium. Other facilities include a spa, sauna, tennis court, barbecue area, free car parking and wi-fi access.

Use Bargara Blue as your base while exploring the Coral Coast, including the Bundaberg region where you can visit the Mon Repos turtle rookery, the Rum Distillery and Cooperage.

Please note Bargara Blue is strictly non-smoking. Initial supplies of soap, tea, coffee, sugar and toilet paper are provided. However are not re-stocked during your stay.

McKinlay

Located 104 kilometres south east of Cloncurry, McKinlay was named after the McKinlay River which was discovered and named by the explorer John McKinlay. McKinlay had arrived in New South Wales in 1836 and by 1861 had become such an adept bushman that he was chosen to lead the South Australian Burke Relief Expedition to search for the missing Burke and Wills.
