Adels Grove Camping Ground is an eco-sensitive park on Lawn Hill Creek, located 10 kilometres downstream from Boodjamulla (Lawn Hill) National Park. Adels Grove is set among a plantation of exotic trees initially grown by the French Botanist Albert de Lestang in the 1930s.

The Camping Parkis an oasis retreat for the dusty, tired traveller: a perfect place to refresh, relax and recover. You can catch Barramundi just metres from your tent site or lie back and watch the cool aqua water meander through the park. Staff at Adels Grove operate tours of the surrounding Boodjamulla National Park and the World Heritage Listed Riversleigh Fossil Fields. Bookings are essential.

The excellent short walks in the vicinity of Adels Grove, is a further 20 kilometres of walking tracks within the National Park. Bird watching in this area is fascinating with several different environments in close proximity. The numerous savannah woodlands, open savannah plains, lush riverine remnant rainforest and rocky Spinifex escarpments all support a wide variety of bird species.

Adels Grove offer a range of accommodation facilities from ensuited rooms, river view tents and room accommodation for a glamping experience, to camping ground area's plus tents to hire.

Our Rooms

The river view pre-erected tents are located right on Lawn Hill creek with a beautiful view of the cascades. This tents are available with Dinner and Breakfast only. Tents have two single or queen size beds provided with linen towels and a lantern, small table and chairs outside to sit back and relax. Perfect for those wanting to experience 'glamping' in the Outback. Amenities are approximately 40 metres from tents

The rooms have share facilities and beds are made up with linen and towels. There are no ensuite or cooking facilities in the rooms or tents. Plate and utensil boxes are available for hire. Food packs are also available for purchase. Rooms are available with or without meals.

They have a limited amount of ensuited rooms from single rooms to family rooms, they can accommodate for room only or with dinner and breakfast. Due to limited generator power there is a camp kitchen close by. All rooms are made up ready to go.

Their tent hire tents are made up with linen, towels and a lantern. Sites have a fire place, barbecue and chairs. Share facilities. There are no ensuite or cooking facilities in the rooms or tents. Plate and Utensil boxes are available for hire. Food packs available.

Caravan Park/Camping

There are two camping areas - The Grove is a open shaded area down by the river. No allocated sites. This is a no generator / no dog area. Top camp sites are individual sites for those who want their own space or have dogs and/or generators or need a sunny place for solar panels. Most top sites have their own fire place and taps. There are no powered sites as they are on generator power, collect wood enroute to Adels Grove for your fire place as wood is not provided.
