Over 30 years of rafting has now hit the Australian soil and organisers are ready to see who is going to Tame the Tully.
The World Rafting Championships is a coming together of rafters from all over the world participating and competing in the toughest white water rapids. The pinnacle event follows the much anticipated pre worlds 2018. The Rafting event is taking place in the heart of Tropical North Queensland, the Tully River.
Australia is looking forward to hosting such a thrilling world event and is sure to make it a memorable one. The peak event is a true celebration of the sport with national federations coming from around the globe. The event will feature international athletes competing in Open, Masters, Under 23 and Under 19 divisions through a combination of river rapids R6 ranging from Sprints, H2H, Slalom and Down River in one of the most iconic settings in Australia.
