Sailing In Paradise offer two hour Sunset Cruises, Island Adventures and Private Charters on a luxurious 35 foot catamaran. The Spirit Of Gwonda has the capacity to seat up to 30 people in complete comfort and is perfect for day charters, birthdays, hens parties, family get togethers or corporate events.

The two hour Sunset and City Lights Cruise is a perfect way to wind down and relax with a complimentary glass of bubbly as the sun sets majestically over the Gold Coast Hinterland. There is an abundance of wildlife in the beautiful blue waters and surrounding isolated islands with golden sandy beaches you feel like your in another part of the world. Enjoy dolphin spotting and feed the South Stradbroke Island's endemic and friendly Golden Wallabies while enjoying a barbecue lunch, chicken, prawns and a cold beer on their four hour Island Adventure.

The catamaran is the perfect vessel for entertaining as it is very stable, is equipped with a barbecue and two large eskies, has a large central table with seating all around and a downstairs toilet. You can sit inside or lounge around the front trampoline section and work on your tan.

Adventures In Paradise

Adventures In Paradise is a four hour Island Adventure Cruise operated by Sailing In Paradise. Sailing the turquoise blue waters of the beautiful Gold Coast aboard this comfortable and stable catamaran, spotting majestic bottle nosed dolphins at play while sea-eagles soar majestically overhead.

Then drop anchor at a secret isolated island destination for a barbecue lunch complimented with chicken, prawns and salads. The tunes are pumping and the sun is shining so why not play some beach cricket, try your hand at fishing, paddle a kayak or have a go at snorkelling in the calm blue waters. Go for a short bushwalk to unexplored beaches, feed the local wallabies or simply relax and soak up the sunshine in this tropical Nirvana. Ahhh the serenity!

Gold Coast Sunset Cruise

Join Sailing In Paradise for the two hour Sunset and City Lights Cruise. Spend a magical two hours sailing the beautiful Gold Coast Broadwater aboard a luxury catamaran the "Spirit of Gwonda".

Departing from Muriel Henchman Drive in Main Beach, you take a leisurely cruise north past the Gold Coast Seaway and picturesque Wave Break and South Stradbroke islands. Relax in comfort with some cool tunes and a glass of bubbly in hand, a cheese plate to snack on, and experience the majestic sunset over the Gold Coast hinterland providing some lovely photo opportunities.

Enjoy spotting magnificent wildlife including South Stradbroke Island's endemic Golden Wallabies and the ever graceful bottle nosed dolphins while sea-eagles soar majestically overhead. They then set sail and head south past the elegant six star Palazzo Versace Hotel and awesome super-yachts at Marina Mirage, taking in the dazzling display of the city lights of Surfers Paradise before returning to the wharf.

McKinlay

Located 104 kilometres south east of Cloncurry, McKinlay was named after the McKinlay River which was discovered and named by the explorer John McKinlay. McKinlay had arrived in New South Wales in 1836 and by 1861 had become such an adept bushman that he was chosen to lead the South Australian Burke Relief Expedition to search for the missing Burke and Wills.

Camooweal Caves National Park

Wide expanses of Mitchell grass plains and spinifex woodland are protected in this park on the Barkly Tableland, a peaceful stopover for weary travellers and ideal for seasonal birdwatching. The park features caves and sinkholes that were formed when water percolated through 500 million year-old layers of soluble dolomite creating caverns linked by vertical shafts up to 75 metres deep.

Dajarra
