Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers

The Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers is a celebration of everything this region has to offer. You’ll find it’s not only the blooms that come out to play at this 10-day festival to welcome spring, but locals and visitors from far and wide who are ready to shake off the shackles of winter with some good food, good wine, and good music.

Jumpers and Jazz in July Festival

Jumpers and Jazz is an annual festival that occurs in Warwick, on Queensland’s Southern Downs. It is traditionally held over 10 days at the end of July. The festival was born out of a desire to create a positive community response to a major streetscape project in 2004.

Come Home to Allora

On July 20 and 21, 2019, Allora will celebrate 150 years of Local Government and the Southern Railway connection. This event is to celebrate an important milestone for the township and will include the official opening of the restored old shire hall, a tribute to Allora's war heroes, re-enactment of a bullock team crossing Dalrymple Creek, a bush poet’s breakfast, lost crafts demonstrations, a pioneers dinner, a beard growing competition and music and food throughout the weekend.

Food and Wine Festivals

All things food and wine is something Southern Queensland Country know and do extremely well. So naturally, they celebrate this through a variety of food and wine events throughout the year. As a taste, why not get well acquainted with the Granite Belt region’s produce and booming wine industry at the Apple & Grape Harvest Festival! Or for a true homegrown Aussie experience, the Australian Camp Oven Festival is a must. From damper throwing to billy boiling, this is a weekend of great family fun.
