Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Triathlon

Southport, Gold Coast Area

5 April 2018 -

Indicative Rate * AU$20 to AU$40

Combining the three disciplines of swimming, cycling and running, Triathlon is a true test of fitness, skill and endurance.

It starts with open water swimming as athletes jostle for position to set up the rest of their race. Out of the water and it’s a transition onto the bike for an arduous cycling leg.

Then with lungs and legs burning, it’s off the bike and into running shoes for a final gripping leg. These warrior athletes will draw upon every ounce of energy and courage as they pound the pavement towards the finish line.

Showcasing the splendour of the Gold Coast, the Triathlon will start and finish at the beautiful Southport Broadwater Parklands. This open air stage will host the drama and excitement that only Triathlon can bring. Fans will revel in the action of individual Triathlon and Para Triathlon events as well as the strategy of a Mixed Team Relay.
