The worlds biggest names in fashion photography are coming to Gold Coast City Gallery at The Arts Centre Gold Coast in Summer 2017 to 2018.

Coming into Fashion: A Century of Photography at Condé Nast celebrates iconic images from the first fashion photographs of the early twentieth century through to the modern day.

Conde Nast, the powerhouse publisher of Vogue, Vanity Fair and Glamour, has opened its photography archive to the public to create this stunning internationally touring exhibition.

Glamorous, provocative, beautiful, accomplished and magical – fashion imagery has always been associated with some of the most famous names in the history of photography.

Produced by the Foundation for the Exhibition of Photography the exhibition includes work by Cecil Beaton, Irving Penn, Helmut Newton, Herb Ritts, Mario Testino, Horst P. Horst, Erwin Blumenfeld, David Bailey, Guy Bourdin, Corinne Day, Deborah Turbeville and Sølve Sundsbø.

Also included in the exhibition is a selection of vintage couture fashion from The Darnell Collection – Australia’s largest private collection of fashion from the late 1700s to the twentieth century.

An exciting range of public programs will accompany the exhibition including; guest talks, fashion forums, workshops and master classes.
