"Straddie Adventures", specialise in Authentic Aboriginal Kulcha Experience. Bay Kayaking and Sand Boarding. Their business is owned and operated by 1st Nations People (Family) of Quandamooka who live on North Stradbroke Island. They will take you on an experience into territory known as "Quandamooka", sharing, demonstrating and teaching their Aboriginal Kulcha passed on through the generations.

North Stradbroke Island has plenty to offer the adventurous visitor of all ages.

Guided bay kayaking tours: Explore the waters off Straddie on a single or two person kayak. Keep an eye out for dolphins, turtles, fish, other sea creatures and wildlife. They specialise in Aboriginal Cultural Adventure Experience Tours.

Sandboarding: "Snowboarding Queensland Style" - Grab a custom designed board, some wax and slide the slopes, sit, stand or lie down. Two hours of extreme fun and laughter for all ages.

Sandboarding

Sandboarding on Beautiful North Stradbroke Island with Quandamooka First Nations People the "Jones Family".

Grab a board,some wax and slide the sandy slopes. Two hours of extreme fun and laughter for all ages.

This Sandboarding tour is for the adventurous visitor of all ages. They will travel about five to ten minutes from Cylinder Beach pick up point to location.

Kayaking Adventure

Explore the pristine waters of "Quandamooka" off Straddie. Bay Kayaking from Ideal locations.

The Kayaking Adventures, Departure locations. 1 Mile or Myora depending on winds. You will have one or two tour guides for the adventure. Opportunity to see Turtles, Stingrays, Birds and other sea creatures and wildlife.

Brown Lake Tours. Enjoy a scenic, quiet and relaxing environment while kayaking. Brown Lake is approximately 3.5 kilometres in an easterly direction from Dunwich via Alfred Martin Way. The Lake is a perched lake containing tannin-stained water from the leaves of surrounding paperbarks and tea trees, as well as the organic matter on its floor.

Kayak Kulcha Experience -Tour With a Cultural Twist

They specialise in Authentic Aboriginal Cultural Experience Tours.

Their Family Lore, they educate, demonstrate and you participate along the way leaning as they go. You get a handmade spear to step into their shoes for a couple of hours, having a go at spearing something to eat. Once they have finished the Kayak Kulcha Experience they invite you back to theirs to continue sharing knowledge, customs and traditions of their family.

Also an opportunity to see Turtles, Stingrays, Birds and other sea creatures and wildlife.

The 1st Nation Family of Quandamooka will guide you on this Kayak Kulcha Experience.

Main Beach offers 32 kilometres of unspoilt sand, dunes and surf. It is popular with boardriders and bodysurfers who enjoy big swells. The waves are large and powerful and the views are spectacular. The headland is the best vantage point for watching the surfing action and spotting whales and dolphins.
