Magnetic Islands BEST Bus Tours provide a comprehensive, personal day tour of beautiful Magnetic Island. Commentary by a friendly, knowledgeable local tour guide covers, wildlife, flora, geology, folk lore, attractions and more. Many creatures are sighted and there is even interaction with some.

They depart from right outside the Island ferry terminal at 10.05 am and return by 2.45 pm, seven days a week.

Our Tours

Their strong local knowledge gives guests a verbal book full of facts and stories about all aspects of this gem of an Island. Flora and fauna, particularly the birds, folklore, climate and geology.

"Maggie" is not a resort. It is home to some 3000 residents, who consider it "Paradise".

They tour four small towns set among the birds and wildlife among rocky hills and magnificent seaside scenery.

Being only a 13 seat bus, the atmosphere is friendly and personal, usually with plenty of humour and interaction.

Alighting at any of their stops is optional and entirely at each passenger's discretion.

There are toilet stops en route and lunch is usually one hour at Horseshoe Bay, their most popular spot, where there is a selection of food choices.
