If you are short on time, budget or unsure if you would like to spend more than one night on a boat, then this is the option for you.

Waltzing Matilda only takes a small group of up to 14 passengers, she can cater to the family market (children's ages on request), couples and also the solo traveller. SV Whitehaven is more aimed at the youth adventure market or the young at heart (18 plus) for a little bit more of a social tour.

Waltzing Matilda and SV Whitehaven come equipped with professional crew to guide you around the Islands, on-board accommodation, fantastic food prepared fresh daily (they can cater to most diets), snorkelling equipment including wet suits, fresh linen and kayaks on SV Whitehaven. They have daily departures everyday except Mondays from Airlie Beach.

For the youth/adventure/backpacker, they have their catamaran the Mighty Tongarra, which offers a social two day/two night experience ticking all the highlights that the Whitsundays have to offer on a budget.

Harold Wilson, from nearby Cooranga station, privately commissioned the memorial, presenting it to Rawbelle and Gayndah councils in 1921 in honour of the 270 local men who enlisted in WWI.
