Witches Falls Winery and Cellar Door

Tamborine Mountain, Scenic Rim Area

At Witches Falls their passion is wine – they love growing it, making it, drinking it, and matching it with all kinds of foods but most of all, they like sharing it with friends. They take pride in creating handcrafted wines that you not only love to drink but that also draw you into their world.

Locating the working winery on Tamborine Mountain was also part of the plan. The beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland is the ideal destination for visitors doing day trips from Brisbane and the Gold Coast while still being close enough to the Granite Belt region where most of their grapes are grown.

Walk inside the intimate Witches Falls Cellar door to do a wine tasting and you will quickly realise this is a unique opportunity to experience something vastly different. As wine writer Tony Harper so aptly put it: “Witches Falls wines shine with individuality and confidence melded with regional style.”

And while they make wine because they love it and not for awards, they are incredibly proud that the winery has achieved a Five Red Star rating from James Halliday, placing it in the top 10 per cent of wineries in Australia.
