Quarterly from 11 April 2018 -
It’s all about hands-on fun! For this very special day they will turn the sound down and create an engaging and fun space that children with sensory processing difficulties can share with their families and carers.
They will also have a couple of chill out zone options if some quiet space is required as well as child-sized earmuffs available for use during your visit.
What to expect:
They will have made some modifications to their displays and activities. While they will do their best to minimise the noise levels of the exhibits and activities, not all of them will be completely silent.
If you would like specific information to help you plan your visit, please contact them and they will be very happy to answer your questions.
The Sensory Friendly Day has been developed in cooperation with Autism Queensland.
