The MooloolaBaBQ festival is a community event on Australia Day Weekend, at the Mooloolaba Wharf precinct from 10am - 8pm, embracing everything that people in the Australian community love about the great Australian barbecue.

To celebrate this Aussie love of firing up the barbie, they have brought together a barbecue event for all the senses to incorporate a wide variety of cultures, styles of cooking, flavours and cuts. From Seafood to Pork to Beef to Lamb, whether Charred, Grilled, Smoked, Roasted, On a Spit or marinated… this is sure to have something to tempt all tastes.

The MooloolaBaBQ festival will be hosting a National Championship Series Barbecue Competition with the Australasian Barbecue Alliance where Australia’s best teams will compete for Championship Points and AUD6,000 Cash and Prizes.

There will be food trucks and tents offering Texas barbecue Lamb/Pork/Beef Ribs, Sliders, German Sausages, Food market stalls with Pickles and Meat rubs, Craft beer, Celebrity guests, demonstrations, Live Entertainment , Jumping castle, Petting Zoo, Face painting and Fireworks.

This Charity event is to raise money for Give Me 5 For Kids. The MooloolaBaBQ festival will definitely make your Australia Day weekend sizzle!
