An indoor colosseum where tenacity and absolute commitment rewards the brave. Here there are no second chances. Track cycling is a fast-paced, hard fought competition that involves a combination of speed, power, endurance and tactics. Spectators are treated to a variety of team and individual events in the most intimate of sporting environments – a 43 degree banked track that breeds excitement. The GC2018 program also includes four para-sport events – men’s and women’s blind and visually impaired sprints and the 1000 metre time trials.
