‘Kids Dig it!’ Viking Family Fun Week - Come to the Abbey Museum this summer holidays for a week of fun-filled, immersive, and educational activities for all the family.

Renowned for providing quality public programmes relating to the museum’s unique collection, visit Brisbane’s favourite kids’ museum this January for amazing hands-on Viking action! Expect to meet a Viking! Expect a Viking Masterclass! Come in costume! Find out about Lucet weaving, Naal binding, shield war training and more! Choose from some of the old favourites (such as archery and the archaeological digs) and some brand new and never offered before!

Parents and Grandparents, don't be shy, you too can participate and make the event even more special! You can also learn a thing or two about Vikings and you may even find yourself just as immersed as your kids! The Kids Dig it! Family Fun week at the Abbey Museum can be your family bonding occasion this school holidays. Get involved or just hang out at the Abbey Cafe! Perfect for groups or families.
