San Mateo on Broadbeach is a small boutique style resort with a friendly atmosphere just across from the beach and within one kilometre of the centre of the Broadbeach shopping precinct.

Close to San Mateo is the Broadbeach Bowling Club and there are cafes, restaurant, take-away food and liquor outlets or you can stroll 800 metres to the hub of Broadbeach. San Mateo has one and two bedroom apartments, sub-penthouses and penthouses, some accommodating up to six persons and all are fully self-contained incorporating a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher as well as separate laundry with washing machine and dryer. All have balconies allowing for meals al fresco and many have ocean views. All units are air-conditioned and the pool is heated for all year round swimming and the spa is always warm and relaxing.

Our Rooms

A Beach House attached to San Mateo is now available for group accommodation. The three bedroom/three bathroom home has all the luxury you need. Air-conditioners and televisions with DVDs in every bedroom, lock up double garage, outdoor courtyard with barbecue and entertaining area and wide sweeping verandas where you can relax and enjoy the sea breezes.

The Two Bedroom Apartment units have two totally separate bedrooms each with ample wardrobe space. There are two toilets and two vanities, but one shower. The kitchen is fully equipped. The lounge/dining area is spacious and opens onto the balcony overlooking the pool area and many have ocean views as well. The laundry has a washing machine and dryer.

Self-contained one bedroom apartment many with ocean views, but all have balconies.

These Two Bedroom units all have sensational ocean views, some being single storey and some being double storey with a flight of stairs. There are two full bathrooms and one has a full bath. There is a powder room downstairs in the penthouses. These apartments accommodate six persons by way of using a sofa bed or rollaway beds. All are fully self-contained with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry.

Good Night Scrub National Park

Gin Gin must be one of the only towns in Australia that can link bushrangers, thick scrub, red soil and barramundi together through its unique and varied history and landscape. A perfect pit stop on your way North or South, Gin Gin is often referred to as Wild Scotsman country as one of Queensland's rogue bushrangers was captured here in 1866.
