Montes Reef Resort is a natural paradise for relaxation, situated at Cape Gloucester by the magnificent Gloucester Island, 40 kilometres north of the Whitsundays.

Montes is secluded and somewhat isolated but accessible by all types of vehicles. It has an all tide sandy beach. Every spacious self contained, air conditioned bungalow is right on the waters edge, with 180 degree panoramic views. There are one and two bedroom cabins to choose from. Facilities include a beachfront bar and restaurant, tennis court, cricket pitch, trampoline, hammocks, boat ramp and wood barbecue areas.

Activities include snorkelling, fishing, canoeing, turtle spotting, bush walks, wild life walks and much more - it's all up to you! Established in the 1970s Montes has its own individual character and with only eight bungalows this feels like your own piece of paradise, making this the perfect getaway.

Our Rooms

1 and 2 Bedroom Cabins

Cabins are mostly two bedroom with a double bed and two single beds, a tiled floor and spacious with separate kitchen and living areas overlooking water and only five metres from waters edge and beach. All Cabins are air-conditioned, have television with built-in dvd player and full cooking facilities.
