Downstairs is a spacious, open plan area with a wood fire and modern kitchen. The dining area has a semicircle of windows offering a spectacular view of islands and waterways. Relax on the deck overlooking the bay and experience the serenity of island life at "Wyrd".

This sub-tropical island has an abundance of native flora and fauna, and is edged with mangrove interspersed with sandy beaches. Beyond the waterfront below the cottage, a Marine Reserve has been established to protect dugong and turtle habitat. When crabbing, remember jennies and undersize males are released, not eaten! Please check cottage information for fish and crab size.

Come and enjoy this charming cottage for a holiday of fishing, bird watching or that elusive pastime, doing absolutely nothing. Just sit back on the deck to enjoy the subtle colours revealed as the tides change.
