Lakehouses

The individually themed two bedroom lakehouses feature works by local artists complemented by soft furnishings using limited edition designer fabrics. All with romantic wood fires. Enjoy your lakeside timber deck and verandah with fantastic lake views.

Lakehouses feature two bathrooms one with spa bath (king single). The Garden Lakehouse nestled amongst bush garden is situated a little further away with lake views from verandah. It has two bathrooms both with a spa (king single and double spa) the perfect choice for two couples. Available as a one or two bedroom. Sleep a maximum of four guests. All have a complimentary canoe.

Deluxe Lakehouses

Architecturally designed spacious two bedroom lakehouses featuring large verandahs, natural plywood, polished floors, skylights, stone benchtops, quality appliances, contemporary furnishings. Bathrooms - one lakehouse with one bathroom with single spa and the other lakehouse with two bathrooms both with shower only. All with separate powder room. Wood or gas fuelled log fires. Air-conditioned. Dishwasher. Private grassed lakeside terrace. Complimentary canoe or kayak. Sleeps up to six including sofa bed. Available as a one bedroom or two bedroom.
One Deluxe Lakehouse is disable friendly with wheelchair access ramp and wheelchair friendly bathroom.

Luxury Lakehouse

Watch the moon rise above the lake at "Gooloowaa" (meaning moonlight). The three bedroom Luxury Lakehouse features double spa's in two bedrooms, two bathrooms plus two powder rooms. The luxury lakehouse's decor is contemporary indigenous theme to compliment the amazing adobe walls handmade from the ground on which it stands. The rooms also contains a superb kitchen featuring granite benches and European appliances including dishwasher. Floor to ceiling glass opens onto the lakefront deck with stairs leading down to a raised boardwalk and a timber deck hovering over the water. Complimentary two person canoe. Air conditioned. The Lakehouse can sleep up to six guests. Available as one bedroom, two bedroom or three bedroom.

Deluxe Cottage

Traditional Queenslander style cottages located 10 metres from lake's edge. One bedroom (Queen bed) with One bathroom (shower only). One cottage features double spa bath on verandah and the other a duo bath in bedroom. Fully self contained, comprehensively equipped kitchens with dishwashers. Combined kitchen/dining and lounge area. Log-fire and air conditioning. Both with private lakefront deck and complimentary two person canoe.

Mount Larcom Climb

The prominent and distinctive peak of Mount Larcom is visible to the north-west from most points in Gladstone, with its summit is 632 metres above sea level. Matthew Flinders noted it when he explored Port Curtis, naming it after Captain Larcom under whom he had served.
