Airlie Beach YHA has a variety of comfortable and clean multi-share, double, twin and family rooms available. Our Rooms

Multi-Share Room (6 or 8 People)

Comfortable and clean multi-share rooms with six or eight person capacity. All rooms have air-conditioning, linen and wi-fi access. Multi-share rooms have balconies overlooking the pool area.

Double or Twin Room

A variety of comfortable and clean double and twin bedrooms are available. All rooms have a balcony or verandah, air-conditioning, wi-fi internet access and linen. Shared bathroom facilities with one other room.

Double Room with Ensuite

A comfortable and clean double room with private ensuite, air-conditioning, bar fridge, television, wi-fi internet access and linen. This room is located on the bottom floor and does not have a balcony.

Family Room (4 or 5 Person)

A variety of affordable, clean and comfortable family rooms are available with either four or five bed capacity. All rooms feature air-conditioning, private ensuite bathrooms, balcony or verandah, wi-fi internet access and linen.

The four bed family room features one large open plan room including bar fridge and television. Five bed family rooms include two bedrooms and a foyer area with couch.

In 1997, the Great Barrier Reef Ministerial Council established Clairview (a small beach town approximately 1.5 hours south of Mackay) as a dugong sanctuary. Often dugongs can be spotted when they surface to breathe from the shore, or in the water, when in a kayak, boat or other recreational vessel - so keep an eye out for these majestic creatures!
