Seafood at Sunset

Sunset/night time cruises take you into the spectacular pristine waterways between Fraser Island and the mainland to look out for their resident dolphins and turtles as well as enjoy the vibrant Sunset over Hervey Bay.

Their wide selection of hot and cold seafood and non seafood finger food is served to you on deck, so you don’t miss any of the views (several items are included in the menu). One Complimentary drink of Beer, Wine, Champagne or Soft Drink is provided and a good variety of economically priced drinks are available from their licensed bar.

The night continues as they show you the sparkle of the city lights along the 13 kilometres of the Beachfront that is The Charlton Esplanade. They cruise past Hervey Bay’s monumental Pier and then admire the brilliant glow of the lights that make up the Harbour precinct.

Kirra Reef Dive Site

Tugun

Just when you thought the Gold Coast couldn't get any more relaxed you arrive over the hill and into Tugun. This southern Gold Coast suburb is so laid-back that locals fondly call her Tugz (pronounced choog-s) while ancient Aborigines referred to Tugun as a place of "breaking waves".

Nine Mile Reef, off Tweed Heads, has a reputation among locals as being a “sharky” spot. All year long, a good population of wobbegongs call the reef home, but are joined by leopard sharks in summer and grey nurse sharks in winter.

Tallebudgera Valley

Its formal name is Tallebudgera Valley but in true Aussie minimalist style, you'll probably hear locals around these parts refer to it as the Tally Valley. However you prefer to wrap your mouth around it, this lush valley at the back of Tallebudgera Beach leads you into emerald-green farmland and natural forests and the relaxed ambience for which the southern Gold Coast is renowned.

Palm Beach

Currumbin Creek and the Alley, the entrance to the ocean, offer a protected and patrolled haven for all kinds of active water sports, particularly stand-up paddle boarding and kayaking.

Kirra

There's variations on what the word Kirra actually means, but some believe Queensland Aborigines named it after a boomerang. Which makes sense as Kirra wraps evocatively around the bend separating Coolangatta and Kirra beaches and in front of Kirra Hill.
