Country Charm Full Day Tour

Toowoomba and Lockyer Valley.
The first stop after leaving Brisbane is the tiny village of Marburg. Options include a to visit the emu farm or browse through the antique shop. Perhaps you would rather meet the locals in the village pub.

Climbing the range to Toowoomba, offers spectacular views from Picnic Point for our morning tea stop. Toowoomba has several parks and gardens or wetlands full of waterbirds. The Japanese and scented gardens are always favourites.

A must see is Queens Gardens with its stunning floral displays, where the Carnival of Flowers is held in September. Lunch is next door at the Cobb and Co Museum with displays of the history of stage coach travel in Queensland. There is the opportunity to join a museum guided tour (extra cost).

The tour returns to Brisbane past the Spring Bluff Railway station with the option to stop to explore.

Sunshine Coast and Hinterland

Head north to the beautiful Sunshine Coast Hinterland and visit the famous Eumundi Markets. This Eco-Tourism Certified tour operates Wednesdays and Saturdays only.

There are a huge number of stalls featuring handmade arts and crafts, fashion and jewellery as well as live music and amazing diversity of foods. The tour then heads to the village of Yandina where there is the option of visiting the Ginger and Macadamia Nut Factories and sampling the best ice-cream in the world.

The return trip to Brisbane is via the Blackall Range and the tiny village of Montville before stopping for spectacular views of the Glasshouse Mountains. There is the option of visiting a winery or art gallery or a short rainforest walk depending on individual preferences and time permitting.

An alternative is to travel from the village of Eumundi to Noosa (rather than the Hinterland) and visit the beautiful sandy beaches, famous Hastings Street or Noosa National Park to walk the Coastal track and spot the local koalas and dolphins.
Between May and October there is the chance to see Humpback Whales during their migration from the Coastal Track. Return to Brisbane via the coastal highway.

Brisbane Wildlife - Full Day

Eco-Tourism Certified Tour.
After pick up the tour travels past some of Brisbane's Heritage listed buildings including City Hall, and St Johns Cathedral and out to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary.

Your guide will accompany you through the attraction which includes hand feeding the emus and kangaroos, cuddling koalas (extra expense), Tasmanian Devils and Platypus display. Stay to watch some of the wildlife shows such as the Bird of Prey free flight show or feed the wild lorikeets.

There is the option to include various bird hot spots or the largest urban population of Eastern Grey kangaroos in Queensland or alternatively to continue to Brisbane Forest Park information centre for a visit to the Freshwater Creek Exhibit and a short bushwalk for more animal spotting in the wild - depending on time available.

The tour then stops at the summit of Mt Cootha for spectacular views of the city before returning through the picturesque suburb of Paddington and its beautiful Queenslander homes.

Brisbane Forest Park - Mt Glorious

After pick up, the tour heads through the picturesque suburb of Paddington and the first stop is at the Walkabout Creek Information Centre. Here you'll visit the Freshwater Display before heading up the range with a couple of great lookouts on the way. Brisbane Forest Park includes a vast area of 28,000 hectares of bushland including national parks, state forests and reserves.

You'll stop for morning tea at one of the picnic areas on your way to Mt Glorious where you'll take a fully guided walk through the rainforest. There are a number of diverse walking tracks here so they can cater for different levels of fitness and see a large range of wildlife. Binoculars are available for those who want to do some bird watching.

Lunch is at Maiala Picnic area while listening to the abundant birdlife. The option is to return via the Wivenhoe Dam and the Warrego Highway or via Mt Cootha Lookout with spectacular views of the city. Afternoon tea is at one of the lookouts. This tour is certified by Eco-Tourism Australia.

Gold Coast Hinterland Full Day

Eco-Tourism Certified Tour. Travelling south from Brisbane the tour travels to Mt Tamborine and starts with a fully guided bushwalk.

There are many to choose from such as the oldest National Park in Queensland - Witches Falls, 30 minute walks with wheelchair access or longer walks up to one or two hours duration. You choose the length and pace to suit you. There are spectacular forests, waterfalls and prolific birdlife.

The next stop is the Gallery Walk with its art galleries and restaurants for lunch. An alternative is a local winery or brewery and the Glow Worm Cave.
After lunch the tour heads to O'Reillys at Green Mountain and a short fully guided walk through pristine rainforest (remnants from Gondwanaland) with a Treetop Boardwalk and Rainforest Circuit. There is plenty of amazing and diverse fauna and flora to see.

Your guide will help identify and explain what you find. Interesting sightings include lyrebirds, bowerbird nests, land mullets and pademelons. There is the opportunity to handfeed the wild rosellas or climb the treetop lookout. Koalas are often spotted in the eucalypts en route. The tour returns via the village of Canungra.

Bushwalking and Birdwatching

Private fully guided bushwalking tours of the South East Queensland National Parks. Choose from Noosa National Park for coastal habitats and a beach swim, Binna Burra or Green Mountain sections of Lamington National Park, Springbrook for waterfalls or Mt Tamborine for ancient rainforests, Glasshouse Mountains, Main Range, or Blackall Range for spectacular views or others areas are available. All of the parks conserve a rich diversity of wildlife. This is an Eco-Tourism Certified Tour.

Allow about 20 to 30 minutes to walk one kilometre with time for photos. The tour is designed for your specific interests and includes day use of any necessary equipment such as binoculars and daypacks. Morning and afternoon tea and any National Park fees are included. Wheelchair access is available for a number of walks in some locations.

You choose the length and pace of the walk and your guide will provide information on the local flora and fauna. Enjoy spectacular views from the various lookouts. It is important to wear suitable clothing and enclosed footwear such as sport shoes or hiking boots and always carry a jacket, water bottle and camera. Sunshine Coast Full Day

Option 1 - Sunshine Coast Beaches.
After pick up, the tour travels to the beautiful beaches of Mooloolaba. There is the opportunity for a swim at a safe beach and then a visit to Underwater World, the largest oceanarium in Queensland. Walk through the 80 metre underwater tunnel, experience the touch and feel coral lagoon and watch the seal show.
After lunch the tour heads to Coolum Beach stopping at the Maroochy River on the way with great views of the river and chance to spot some of the local wildlife. The return trip takes in views of the Glasshouse Mountains. (Lunch and entry to Underwater World is at own expense).

Option 2 - Yandina Ginger factory and Maleny Hinterland. Eco-Tourism Certified.
Another option is to spend the morning at the Yandina Ginger Factory and Macadamia factory (entry to both is free) next door and then explore the verdant hinterland with its relaxed villages of Maleny and Montville. Enjoy the spectacular views of the Glasshouse Mountains and a short rainforest walk at Maleny's Mary Cairncross Park. Shop for local arts and crafts at Montville, visit the Cheese factory or enjoy the wineries and art galleries. It's your choice!

Noosa National Park and Eumundi Markets

Travel the Coastal highway before stopping at beautiful Coolum Beach for morning Tea and a stroll along the pristine white sand. Continue to one of Australia's most famous beaches, Noosa.

Enjoy an easy walk along the Coastal track in Noosa National Park and spot some of the local wildlife - birds, reptiles, turtles, dolphins, and whales during their annual migration.
Stop at Boiling Pot, Granite Bay and Hells Gate for spectacular photo opportunities. On the return walk stop for a refreshing swim at beautiful Tea Tree Bay.

The tour then heads to world famous Eumundi Artisans Markets ( Only available on Wednesdays and Saturdays) for free time.
Wander through all the amazing stalls.
