Maleny Dairies

Maleny, Sunshine Coast Area

Price Range * Dinner under $20 (AUD)

Maleny Dairies is a family owned dairy farm and factory situated in the stunning Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

Their Farm Tours run from Monday to Saturday and are suitable for all ages. Tours begin with a short film about their farm and then it’s down to the factory to see how they process and package their products.

Their tour guides will then take you to meet Millie, their tour cow, for a hand milking demonstration and a chance to taste the milk straight from the udder! From here it’s into the baby pen to bottle-feed their calves! The tour finishes with a look inside their dairy and a taste testing of all of their award winning products.

They also offer Tractor Rides which run after the first three tours of the day. The driver will take you up through the beautiful back paddocks to watch the calves being fed and you will get to feed their emus!

They have plenty of room for the kids to tire themselves out so remember to bring a picnic or grab a Devonshire Tea from their Milkbar. (Barbecue facilities available).
