Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers

The Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers is a celebration of everything this region has to offer. You’ll find it’s not only the blooms that come out to play at this 10-day festival to welcome spring, but locals and visitors from far and wide who are ready to shake off the shackles of winter with some good food, good wine, and good music.

Giddy-up Gundy Horse Festival

The Giddy Up Gundy Horse Fest is happening on the New South Wales/Queensland border towns in the Goondiwindi Region from July 21 to September 9 2018. It is a collaboration of 11 major equine events including The Goondiwindi Polocrosse Club Tournament , Talwood Picnic Races, North Star and Goondiwindi Polo Tournaments, Gdi Campdraft Association Invitational Campdaft, The 21st Birthday of the Cotton Country Cutting Club 's SDM Quarter Horses Aged Cutting Show, North Star Showjumping Classic , Local school gymkhana events at Goondiwindi showgrounds and Gunsynd Park Spring Race Meeting.

Food and Wine Festivals

All things food and wine is something Southern Queensland Country know and do extremely well. So naturally, they celebrate this through a variety of food and wine events throughout the year. As a taste, why not get well acquainted with the Granite Belt region’s produce and booming wine industry at the Apple & Grape Harvest Festival! Or for a true homegrown Aussie experience, the Australian Camp Oven Festival is a must. From damper throwing to billy boiling, this is a weekend of great family fun.
