Royal Opera House Cinema Season: Swan Lake

A brand new production of Tchaikovsky’s magnificent classic Swan Lake will screen exclusively nationally as part of Royal Opera House 2017/18 Live Cinema Season. Presented in partnership with Trafalgar Releasing, the 2018 production includes additional choreography by Artist in Residence Liam Scarlett to perfectly close the season.

Join them on a free 30 minute tour of the Art Deco inspired Innisfail Shire Hall! The Innisfail Shire Hall is the jewel in the crown, of the Art Deco Capital of Australia - Innisfail. It was built to provide jobs as part of an employment relief scheme instigated by the Queensland Government during the great depression of the 1930's It was in this climate that the Johnstone Shire Council erected the Shire Hall which has dominated the Innisfail Skyline for over 70 years.

The tour incorporates all the buildings in the historic precinct and takes visitors on a fascinating journey of the area’s colourful history as they move through each building.

InkMasters Print Exhibition

Inkmasters biennial exhibition shows a magnificent range of prints selected from regional, national and international artists both indigenous and non-indigenous. Printmaking methods and techniques include the traditional such as etching, linocut and woodcuts.

Beach Netball - Cairns

Mareeba Military Muster

The Mareeba Military Muster is planned to take place within the Mareeba Turf Club. A weekend of military vehicles, displays, relics, and equipment, as well as re-enactors dressed in period uniforms. A weekend dedicated to honour veterans of all wars and conflicts, with a particular World War Two focus.
