Each apartment has a room safe, DVD player and television. Shares a laundry with interconnecting unit. Balconies have plantation shutters which can be closed for privacy or opened to catch the tropical breezes.

2 Bedroom Superior

Two bedrooms with en suite, kitchenette with dishwasher, microwave and full size balcony. All apartments are on first floor and second floor. No ground floor available. Each apartment has a room safe, DVD player and television. Shares a laundry with interconnecting unit. Selected rooms have sofa beds and they are all interconnecting with studio rooms.

2 Bedroom Deluxe

A dual key two bedroom deluxe comprises a common entry with internal access to a studio apartment and a one bedroom deluxe. The bedding is a queen bed and a king bed or twin bed. The dual key offers two en suites; one with a bath and a full kitchen with a kitchenette located in the studio. There is a laundry attached to the one bedroom deluxe bathroom and a large indoor/outdoor dining balcony for family meals. This type of apartment is ideal for couples travelling together or families with older children. Some families with small toddlers may not find the dual key option suitable.

The Bunya Mountains National Park is perched 1100 metres high and 200 kilometres north-west of Brisbane and considered Queensland's second-oldest national park being gazetted in 1908. It's there ancient rainforest-clad peaks stand tall and shelter the world's largest formation of bunya pines (Araucaria bidwillii) - once a popular meeting place for Aboriginal folk to gather nuts in the 1800s.

The little town of Kaimkillenbun, has the longest single place name in Queensland and is known to the locals simply as 'The Bun'. Kaimkillenbun's closest major town is Dalby (24 kilometres to the south west) and it is a great place to stop in when driving to the Bunya Mountains.
