Mount Garnet Travellers Park is situated just south of Mount Garnet township and approximately 300 metres off Savannah Way. Mount Garnet, at 700 metres above sea level offers a 'naturally air-conditioned' climate. The Park has an array of well-established and well-maintained gardens. This ideal bush setting offers peace and tranquillity, with the joy of bird life and an evening sky bright with stars.

It boasts nice shady drive through sites, powered and non-powered sites, air-conditioned cabins, great camp kitchen, camping sites, and clean modern amenities. Pets are welcome (on a leash). Close by is a café, which serves good take away meals. In the township of Mount Garnet, which is less than a kilometre away from the park, you will find a supermarket, post office and the Mount Garnet Hotel, where very good meals and cold beers are served. There is also a Top Shop, which incorporates a newsagency and bakery.

Our Rooms

Cottage (newly refurbished)

Some of their larger Cottages in the park have Double or Queen bed with quality linen supplied. Some of the larger cabins are suitable for Disabled guests on request. Please advise the manager if you have special requirements.

The Cottages are breezy and quiet over looking the garden with array of bird life. All bedrooms are air-conditioned. Some cottages have air-conditioned family room with sofa (double bed), television, microwave, tea and coffee facilities, toaster, and crockery. Private bathroom. Single bed cabins (King Single bed) with shared en-suite between. Each cabin is air-conditioned and sleeps one.
Equipped with tea/coffee making facility and mini fridge and flat screen television.

Unpowered Sites are nestled in ideal bush setting

Their Tourist Park is conveniently located 300 metres from Kennedy Highway, offering quiet and peaceful environment.

Facilities include: 24 hour reception, barbecue facilities, camp kitchen, communal facilities, laundry, non smoking establishment, outdoor furniture, pets allowed (enquire on booking), shop, television/lounge area and vehicle wash facilities.
