Lillydale Farmstay offers the warmth of a genuine Queensland country family and is a welcome alternative for people wanting to escape their busy lifestyles and relax at an advanced ecotourism farm. Lillydale is 90 minutes from Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

You are welcomed to Lillydale by hosts Doug and Pam Hardgrave; fourth generation South East Queensland beef cattle farmers. Their spacious homestead suites each contain an en suite, kitchenette and outdoor courtyard. A two bedroom cabin is also available for larger groups.

Many farm activities are available including pony leads, animal feeding, egg collecting, milking the cow, fishing, tractor rides and even exploring the property. There is also a maze, creek and dinosaur cave to explore.

Nearby Mount Barney provides a fantastic backdrop for activities including animal feeding, egg collecting, milking the cow, horse riding, saddle club, pony rides, riding lessons, abseiling, tractor rides, native wildlife searches, bushwalking, Kids Club and in-room massages.

Bush walking in the heritage listed National Park is a great way to spend some quality time together, please ask for a detailed map showing the recommended walking tracks.

Bowen has many creek systems, which hold healthy numbers of Mangrove-jack, Bream, Whiting and Barramundi (closed season Nov -Feb). South of Bowen, you’ll find Adelaide and Duck Creeks, which can be accessed by sea around the top of the tide only, via beach ramps.
